Carbon Atom Stud Earrings
So, what do you think of the design? Huh? Huh? I spent quite a bit of time coming up with various designs to represent a carbon atom and decided this looked the best. All it really is is the typical two-dimensional design you commonly see, like the United States Atomic Energy Commission logo, made into 3D. The nucleus is composed of 12 nucleons and then it has 6 electrons that are in orbits that are a blend between 2D and 3D. To position the nucleons I simply used a stellated dodecahedron to do the positioning.
I have always loved science stuff but never had enough left brain power to learn all the academic related stuff so I have a special affection for the left brain optimized among us. I got blessed with right brain optimization though, ergo the art stuff you see me creating. With this carbon atom design, I wanted to make something for you that tells people what you're into while looking good. I hope you like it. :)
I can make these in the various precious metal alloys, such as, Sterling silver, Gold, Argentium Silver, 14K Yellow Gold, 14K Rose Gold, 14K White Gold, 14K Green Gold, 18K Yellow Gold, 18K Rose Gold, 18K White Gold, 18K Green Gold, Palladium, Platinum. White earring box and white gift box included; see image above. Earring backs included.
Have any science jewelry ideas? If so, let me know and I'll see if I can make it tangible!
